Hello, the problem is either from the Encore or from your computer's USB configuration. This is what you need to try first: Turn on your laptop, insert the Encore into our computer, under 'Search' type in 'Device Manager' and press enter on your keyboard. You will see a list of your computer's device. Amongst the list, go to Universal Serial Bus Controller (USB), click the plus sign by the side, you will see your Encore there, right click on it, scroll to 'Uninstall' and click it. Allow it uninstall and uninstall other related device to the Encore. Remove the Encore from your laptop, restart the laptop.
